What do I need to know about the COVID-19 vaccine? Is the vaccine right for me?
As of May 12, 2021, all Philadelphians who meet the age requirements are eligible to get the vaccine. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is currently authorized for individuals 12 years and above. The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are currently authorized for individuals 18 years and above.
There is no co-pay or charge for the covid-19 vaccine.
Insurance is not required to receive the vaccine.
There is no requirement for proof of citizenship in order to get the vaccine.

How can I get the vaccine?
Here is a map of vaccination sites in West/Southwest Philly, populated by the Promise Zone, and here is a map of vaccine locations created by the CDC.
On Sunday June 27 from 12-3pm, YEAH Philly and VietLead are distributing the Pfizer vaccine during a community resource fair at Myers Recreation Center, 5801 Kingsessing Ave. For more info, call 267-469-3002 or 267-904-0154.
They will be providing the Pfizer vaccine, and free groceries, pet food, and gun locks.

Homebound Philadelphians (older adults and people with disabilities):
Penn Medicine is offering the Johnson and Johnson (one dose) vaccine to homebound Philadelphians and their caregivers. To schedule, call 267-758-4902.
The City is also offering the vaccine to homebound adults (18+). Fill out their registration form or call 215-685-5488.

On June 18, there will be Pfizer clinic at the city-run site at the University of the Sciences Athletic/Recreation Center (ARC), 730 S 43rd St, Philadelphia PA 19104.
Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (51 North 39th St.) is offering the Moderna vaccine to anyone ages 18+. Monday to Friday, 8am - 3pm, walk-ups welcome. Located at the first floor security desk in the Wright Saunders Lobby.
Health Center 3 Annex (4219 Chester Avenue, by Clark Park) is holding Walk-Up Wednesdays between 8am-4pm on Wednesday for Philadelphia residents over the age of 65.
Greater Philadelphia Health Action (GPHA) is offering vaccines, including at its Woodland Avenue Health Center in West Philly. You can fill out the vaccine request form here. You can also call the health center at (888) 296-4742 and press 0 to speak to an operator, and they can get you enrolled and set up with an appointment.
Neighborhood Compounding Pharmacy at 57th and Chestnut is also administering vaccines. You can schedule an appointment here. Many other pharmacies, including Rite-Aid, CVS, Walgreens, and some Giant supermarkets are also administering the vaccine.
Oak Street Health is providing vaccinations for their patients over the age of 65 at their Cobbs Creek, Parkside, and University City locations. You can fill out the request form on their website or call one of their centers directly.
